Accredited Exercise Physiologist / Immersion Therapy Specialist

Hi my name is Adrian.I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist having completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science followed by a Masters of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation at Victorian University. I also have been working as a Disability Support Worker for the last 7-8years.
Through my experiences in these fields I have been able to cultivate a person-centred approach, where you’re not just focusing on the condition, but also on the individual as a whole. This assists me to do my job well as an exercise physiologist, as creating tailored, accessible programs for each person requires an understanding of their specific needs, abilities, and goals. Furthermore the skills I have developed—rapport-building, empathy, patience, and effective communication—are all essential in healthcare and can significantly improve patient outcomes.
I have a deep commitment to improving my clients’ overall quality of life in a holistic approach. The integration of physical, mental, and social health is such a powerful approach, especially when you’re working with individuals who might face challenges in any one of those areas. Immersion Therapy has been a real eye opener for me as the clients that we have coming have experience such drastic improvements in their lives. From being in a state of uncertainty to building the confidence to travel, go to concerts and being able to spend time doing the things they love.
Outside of Immersion Therapy I enjoy being in the outdoors doing sports of all kinds and I play soccer semi – professionally as well as playing futsal semi professionally. I have also won a few tournaments in futsal. I also enjoyed travelling as I have been to Europe 7 times and have been able to see some historical landmarks, sites and the cultures of different countries. Now I am going to attempt doing a marathon or a tough mudder just to explore some other avenues to getting fitter as I do like to be active. To wind down I read books, perform yoga, meditation and going to the beach for a surf.
